This tour is for couples or individuals who enjoy off road, extreme 4-wheeling, getting to see country and landscapes that most people never get to see. It’s good, clean fun! If you are a beginner or consider yourself experienced – all are welcome. You will learn how to 4-wheel properly and safely. The weekend tour of McKenna Ranch is only $300 per couple, which includes lodging and meals, and a fun memorable tour. UTV vehicles are recommended for this historic tour up on top of mountain passes and canyons that have beautiful views. This opportunity is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for the young at heart!
Quads are not recommended.

Raymond, having grown up on the ranch working with his father and grandfather, gained a wealth of knowledge about the ways of the west and the families who worked and established ranches in the Loma Alta area. This tour is a first-time opportunity to see the steep canyons, high bluffs, and beautiful vistas from the tops of the mountain ridges on the historic McKenna Ranch, established in 1880.

The Quiggs have been hosting tours for 40 years through the most unbelievable beautiful parts of Texas: the rugged Big Bend country, the ranches in the beautiful Davis Mountains and Texas Hill Country, and even through miles and miles of the old logging roads of New Mexico. They offer both types of 4 wheeling packages of ATV/UTV and Jeep Tours. The UTV Tours are the most requested and get you to the most remote spots on these ranches. These trips are tours for sight-seeing and enjoying the history. We respect and take care of the landowner’s existing roads and do not wish to disturb or harm their condition. Make no mistake: THIS IS NOT A RACE TRACK OR TIMED EVENT. GUIDES WILL BE ON EACH TOUR TO EDUCATE AND MAINTAIN SAFETY TO EACH INDIVIDUAL.

Any age driver is welcome, however the age limit requires a parent to be with a driver who is under-age, without a driver’s license.
